Please read the following terms and conditions,

I, Parent or Guardian, agree to the following

PAYMENT & FEES

  1. In order for a place to be kept for your child/children in our classes, payment is required by subscription on the 1st of the month. (Fees are split over 12 monthly payments August-July)
  2. We reserve the right to make changed to these amounts and/or collection date if necessary. In this case, you will be given notice via email.
  3. Any late fees will occur a 10% late payment fee.
  4. Fees are reviewed annually.
  5. Failure to make payments on time may result in losing your place in chosen class/classes. If you are having trouble paying please speak to a member of our team and we will do our best to help.
  6. Fees and event payments are non-refundable.
  7. All pupils will have a £8 registration fee that will come off your first monthly payment

CANCELLATION

  1. Should your child wish to cancel one or all of their classes then we require one month's written notice via email on the 1st of the month and that months fees. For example if you email on 1st January your January monthly fee will still be paid then all subscriptions after this will be cancelled. If you email after the 1st the next months fees will be due. Example if you email on the 19th January, February fees are still due.(ach.missamber@yahoo.com)
  2. Any classes that fall under 5 students in total will be subject to being cancelled.
  3. All unattended lessons are still payable. Substitute lessons can be arranged where applicable.

CLOTHING

  1. Uniform is available at our shop/reception area of our studio. (Shop has certain opening times, only at these times can uniform be purchased) A.C.H branded merchandise is available to order through email a few times through out the year.
  2. Set uniform must be worn to every lesson.
  3. No jewellery or accessories to be worn to classes for obvious safety reasons.
  4. Hair should be neat and tidy. In a ponytail or bun.
  5. All students taking part in our show/performances will be required to purchase/hire costumes, ACH t-shirt, tickets etc.

CLASSES & PERFORMANCES

  1. A.C.H Dance Company aim to provide the very best training. We will implement fun and discipline to do this. If we feel that any student is being disruptive on a regular basis we will issue a verbal warning. If this continues, we will speak to the parent/guardian about the matter
  2. Promotional pictures and footage will be taken throughout the year during classes, workshops, performances etc. If you do NOT wish for your child to take part we will require a written request. We may also work in collaboration with outside media companies in line with our data protection policy.
  3. Our annual performance will also be recorded and pictures taken. Personal cameras and recording equipment are not permitted.
  4. We advise that your child does not bring any valuables (i.e phone, jewellery etc.) with them to classes. A.C.H Dance Company do not accept any liability for lost or damaged belongings. Any belongings should have child's name clearly marked.
  5. No child will be allowed to leave the studio themselves without a parent/guardian. Your child's safety is paramount to us.
  6. A.C.H Dance Company cannot be held responsible for any injuries incurred during classes. Teachers will ensure students are learning and progressing in a safe manner.
  7. If you are going to be late to pick your child up, you must make contact with the studio to inform us.
  8. If you wish to add/drop a class, you the parent/guardian but inform us by emailing each.missamber@yahoo.com.

DISIPLINE

  1. Unruly, disruptive behaviour in class will not be tolerated. We have a strict anti-bullying policy in place and expect our students to always adhere to this.
  2. Our staff will not tolerate abusive or disruptive behaviour from students or parents/guardians. We will treat everyone with respect and appreciate the same in return.
  3. If a child/parent/guardian displays consistent unruly or aggressive behaviour, this could result in termination of class membership.

GENERAL

  1. Any medial condition, special needs & additional needs must be disclosed upon registration, and the responsibility falls on you, the parent/guardian, to update us when necessary thereafter. It is imperative that we are always fully aware of any of the above for your child's safety and your own peace of mind
  2. A.C.H communication is made via email, social media and what's app group. If you do not wish to be added to our Whats App group please email your request to act.missamber@yahoo.com. Please ensure you follow our social media platforms for recent updates and continue to check you spam/junk mail as well as your inbox. It is the parent/guardians responsibility to keep up to date with all relevant information regarding their child.
  3. From time to time, it will essential for physical contact to take place between the teacher and student/peers. We always encourage safe practice and support students in doing so.

COVID-19

  1. Given the current climate, we will continue to follow government guideline regarding the coronavirus situation and do everything necessary to ensure the dafe running of the studios for both staff and students.
  2. A.C.H Dance Company has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of Covid-19, however, A.C.H Dance Company cannot guarantee that you or your child(run) will not become infected with the virus.
  3. Students/families should not attend classes if they are showing any symptoms of Covid-19.
  4. Adults are not permitted to be inside our premises to limit the chance of the virus spreading.
