Please read the following terms and conditions,
I, Parent or Guardian, agree to the following
PAYMENT & FEES
- In order for a place to be kept for your child/children in our classes, pupils must be signed up to our online system Class For Kids and payment is required by subscription on the 1st of the month through this system. (Fees are split over 12 monthly payments August-July)
- We reserve the right to make changed to these amounts and/or collection date if necessary. In this case, you will be given notice via email.
- Any late fees will occur a 10% late payment fee.
- Fees are reviewed annually.
- Failure to make payments on time may result in losing your place in chosen class/classes. If you are having trouble paying please speak to a member of our team and we will do our best to help.
- Fees, private lessons and event payments are all non-refundable, including missed classes, illness, holidays or change of mind.
- All pupils will have a £10 registration fee that will come off your first monthly payment.
CANCELLATION
- Should your child wish to cancel one or all of their classes then we require one month's written notice via email on the 1st of the month and that months fees. For example if you email on 1st January your January monthly fee will still be paid then all subscriptions after this will be cancelled. If you email after the 1st the next months fees will be due. Example if you email on the 19th January, February fees are still due.(ach.missamber@yahoo.com)
- Any classes that fall under 5 students in total will be subject to being cancelled.
- All unattended lessons including privates are still payable. Substitute lessons can be arranged where applicable.
CLOTHING
- Uniform is available at our shop/reception area of our studio. (Shop has certain opening times, only at these times can uniform be purchased) A.C.H branded merchandise is available to order at the shop a few times through out the year.
- Set uniform must be worn to every lesson. (Uniform must be purchased after 2 week trial period)
- No jewellery or accessories to be worn to classes for obvious safety reasons.
- Hair should be neat and tidy. In a ponytail or bun.
- All students taking part in our show/performances will be required to purchase/hire costumes, ACH t-shirt, tickets etc. and pay a show fee
ATTENDANCE & PUNCTUALITY
- Regular attendance and punctuality are expected to ensure progress and safety.
- Please inform the studio in advance if a student is unable to attend class.
- On the rare occasion if you are going to be late to pick up your child you must make contact with the studio to inform us.
CLASSES & PERFORMANCES
- A.C.H Dance Company aim to provide the very best training. We will implement fun and discipline to do this. If we feel that any student is being disruptive on a regular basis we will issue a verbal warning. If this continues, we will speak to the parent/guardian about the matter
- From time to time, it will be essential for physical contact to take place between the teacher and student/peers. We always encourage safe practice and support students in doing so.
- We advise that your child does not bring any valuables (i.e phone, jewellery etc.) with them to classes and performances. A.C.H Dance Company do not accept any liability for lost or damaged belongings. Any belongings should have child's name clearly marked.
- No child will be allowed to leave the studio or theatre themselves without a parent/guardian. Your child's safety is paramount to us.
- If you wish to add/drop a class or not take part in our performances you the parent/guardian must inform us by emailing ach.missamber@yahoo.com.
STUDIO ETIQUETTE & BEHAVIOUR
- Respectful behaviour is expected at all times from students and parents/guardians.
- Any form of aggressive, abusive or disruptive behaviour towards staff, students or other parents will not be tolerated. We have a strict anti-bullying policy in place and expect our students/parents/guardians to always adhere to this.
- If a child/parent/guardian displays this behaviour constantly , this could result in termination of class membership. In such cases class fees, private lessons or any show related fees will not be refunded.
HEALTH & SAFETY
- Any medial condition, allergies, injuries, special needs & additional needs must be disclosed upon registration, and the responsibility falls on you, the parent/guardian, to update us when necessary thereafter. It is imperative that we are always fully aware of any of the above for your child's safety and your own peace of mind
- A.C.H Dance Company cannot be held responsible for any injuries incurred during class time or outside of class time. Teachers will ensure students are learning and progressing in a safe manner.
COMMUNICATION & MEDIA CONSENT
- A.C.H communication is made via email, social media and what's app group. If you do not wish to be added to our Whats App group please email your request to ach.missamber@yahoo.com. Please ensure you follow our social media platforms for updates and continue to check your spam/junk mail as well as your inbox. It is the parent/guardians responsibility to keep up to date with all relevant information regarding their child.
- Promotional pictures and footage will be taken throughout the year during classes, workshops, performances etc. If you do NOT wish for your child to take part we will require a written request. We may also work in collaboration with outside media companies in line with our data protection policy.
- Our annual performance will also be recorded and pictures taken. Personal cameras and recording equipment are not permitted.
PARENT/GUARDIAN ACCESS
- Parents/guardians are not permitted to be inside our premises including changing room, unless they have been invited in by a member of staff or you need to visit the studio shop for purchases/enquiries. This is to help maintain a focused and safe environment for our students and staff.
- Parents/guardians are not permitted to be backstage or in the theatre changing rooms before, during and after performances. These spaces are restricted to performers and authorised staff only. This is to ensure the safety, privacy and smooth running of our performances. If your child requires assistance or you need to get a message to them during the event please speak to a member of staff and we will be happy to help.
COVID-19
- Given the current climate, we will continue to follow government guideline regarding the coronavirus situation and do everything necessary to ensure the safe running of the studios for both staff and students.
